Fish Bowl Farm is a full service equestrian facility on Vashon Island, Washington, offering:
- English Riding Lessons
- Half leases of school horses
- Summer day camps
- Horse Boarding
Owned and managed by Emily and Alex Wigley, Fish Bowl Farm has been in operation since 2000, boarding horses, hosting riding clinics, horse training, lessons and occasional horse shows. The farm is situated on 15 acres at Vashon's center, and is home to approximately ten horses: boarded horses, school horses and the Wigleys own private horses. In the past lessons have been available for students on their own horses only. Now Emily is teaching lessons to riders of all ages and abilities on school horses.
- Safety is paramount at the Farm! Students learn to ride English "balance seat," the foundation of all styles of riding.
- Horsemanship is featured: horsemanship is the respectful care for, and knowledge of, a horse in the partnership between a horse and a rider.
- Riding is fun! Riders play games appropriate and challenging to the rider's age and development. Curriculum is progressive and builds on each skill as the rider advances.
